NUWOCSI is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit with the United States Internal Revenue Service as of October 2014 and is incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

NUWOCSI is registered in Uganda with the NGO Bureau as an International NGO.

NUWOCSI receives no government funding and supported by both private cash and in-kind donations and grants. The board members volunteer their time and receive no salary or compensation from NUWOCSI. The current executive director takes no salary or other compensation from NUWOCSI.

Nancy Lee Cardoza, Founder and Executive Director, lives in Uganda and directs and implements NUWOCSI’s projects. Nancy’s background is in Pension Administration and has a 25-year career in designing, implementing and administering pension plans. She has many years of volunteer work in church with community outreach programs and with non-profits.

Christopher John Rodwill, Founder and Treasurer is a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army and holds a BS degree in nursing with RN licensure. His tenure with the military has taught how to apply himself in team operations, improving the organization and influencing others toward enterprise goals. Chris has served with the Army in both Iraq and Afghanistan and lives with his wife, Tracy and their two sons.

Karin Chambers just recently joined NUWOCSI board of directors but has been a faithful supporter of NUWOCSI since its beginning. Karin and her husband Paul are retired but are very active with their grandchildren and in accomplishing the goal of hiking the Appalachian Trail.

Okullo Christopher has been with NUWOCSI for over five years and is the manager of the Gulu Honey Centre and our senior beekeeping trainer for Hamel Beekeeping Training Centre. Christopher lives in Gulu with his wife and children.

Okello Boniface helps in maintaining the apiaries at our Hamel Beekeeping Training Centre and plays a big role in managing our dairy goats. He is also an assistant beekeeping trainer.
